Meet-up to hear Jonathan Safran Foer & Nathan Englander discuss New American Haggadah

March 19, 2012 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

$2 – $30

Read each year around the seder table, the Haggadah recounts through prayer, song, and ritual the story of Exodus, when Moses led the Israelites out of slavery in Egypt to wander the desert for forty years before reaching the Promised Land.

Now, Jonathan Safran Foer has orchestrated a new way of experiencing and understanding one of our oldest and sacred stories, with a new translation of the traditional text by Nathan Englander and commentary by major Jewish writers and thinkers Jeffrey Goldberg, Lemony Snicket, Rebecca Newberger Goldstein, and Nathaniel Deutsch.

Join Cary & Joey, who love exploring each other’s (and others’) faiths and traditions, at this event. Let us know you’re coming, and we’ll try to save you a seat.  Doors open at 6; program starts at 7.
