Support Bloombars at the Foster the People show at Merriweather Post Pavilion

June 10, 2012 @ 6:00 pm
Merriweather Post Pavilion Columbia, MD United States + Google Map

We love connecting favorite organizations, so we were thrilled to have the chance to broker a partnership between the Do Good Project that Foster the People do at their shows and a local arts organization, Bloombars. If you're going to the show Sunday, June 10, look for the photo booth and make a generous donation to a great community that's creating space for the arts for kids and adults alike. Bloombars has really enhanced DC.

We're partnering with Feastly, an online marketplace in DC (and New York) that connects passionate cooks with hungry eaters to offer homemade meals prepared and served in a cook's home. We're doing a twist on their usual events by partnering with Jessica O'Neal of JLOKitchens to do a combo salon and dinner party. We'll be feasting on misunderstood foods, things people think they hate but just haven't had properly cooked. And we'll have a conversation around prejudice and preconceived notions as we eat…
